“Easy and Satisfying Veg Khichdi Recipe: A Balanced Vegetarian Dish for Your Daily Meals!”
This dish is comfort food for all age groups and, this veg khichdi recipe according to Ayurveda medicine, it is a cleansing and detoxifying dish. It is anti-inflammatory and also feeds good gut bacteria.

INGREDIENTS
- Basmati rice—1/2 cup
- Moong dal—1/2 cup
- Cumin seeds—l tsp
- Ginger—I tsp
- Salt—to taste
- Water—3—4 cups, depending on desired consistency
- Ghee—2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
- Wash the rice and dal thoroughly. Take a large pot and heat the ghee on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and heat until they are roasted.
- Add ginger and cook until it turns light brown.
- Add the rice and dal, stir thoroughly and cover for 3 minutes. Stir again, add some water and cover.
- Add 4 cups of water and cook until the rice and dal gets tender, for approximately 20—30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
मूंगदाल की खिचड़ी (VEG KHICHDI RECIPE)
सामग्री
- छिलकेवाली मूँगदाल – 3/4 कप
- चावल – 3/4 कप
- अदरक – 2 इंच का टुकड़ा
- घी – 3 छोटे चम्मच
- जीरा – 1/2 छोटा चम्मच
- लौंग 4
- कड़ी पत्ते 10-12
- पिसी हुई हल्दी 1/4 छोटा चम्मच
- नमक – स्वादानुसार
- काली मिर्च 4-6 दाने
विधि (VEG KHICHDI RECIPE)
दाल और चावल को धोकर निथार लें। अदरक को पीस लें। प्रेशर कुकर में घी गर्म करें | इसमें डालें जीरा और लौंग। जैसे ही फूटने लगे, अदरक डालकर भूनें। फिर डालें कड़ी पत्ते, 5-6 कप पानी और दाल और चावल । अच्छी तरह मिला ले । हल्दी नमक डालें। उबाल आने दें और ऊपर बनी झाग को बैठ जाने दें।कुकर को ढक्कन लगाकर बन्द करें और 4-5 सीटी बजने तक आँच पर रखें। फिर आँच से हटा दें और ठण्डा होने दें। फिर ढक्कन खोलें और खिचड़ी को
कढ़ी से साथ परोसें।
